The Easy Way

What will you do when it all comes down?
Why are you supposed to hide the frown?

There's no reason to make it hide
There's no reason anymore

When it all comes down; apart
How long will it take to stop your heart?
The lilting words; the fragrant scent
Lose it all in dark descent
End it all with just one flick
A razor blade across the wrist
Perhaps a foreign venom's kiss
Or a knife, to bring you final bliss

What will you do when to finish the pain?
Will they forget you, as easy as the rain?

It's systematic, you know that my dear
How to breathe and live and die
Death's the most immune supreme
Sweet and soft like the sweetest cream
Do you strive to find this?
Do you strive to meet the end?

When you fall and all you have is lost
No more light to look for God
Nor is Jesus there, the man so great
And all that's left is the easy way

What happens when you take the easy way?
Is someone going to pray for you?

Suicide is the easy way out
But can't I take it, just once?
